La 3.1:   I [am] the man [that] hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
Lm 3.1:   YO soy el hombre que ha visto aflicción en la vara de su enojo.
La 3.2:   He hath led me, and brought [me into] darkness, but not [into] light.
Lm 3.2:   Guióme y llevóme en tinieblas, mas no en luz.
La 3.3:   Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand [against me] all the day.
Lm 3.3:   Ciertamente contra mí volvió y revolvió su mano todo el día.
La 3.4:   My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.
Lm 3.4:   Hizo envejecer mi carne y mi piel; quebrantó mis huesos.
La 3.5:   He hath builded against me, and compassed [me] with gall and travail.
Lm 3.5:   Edificó contra mí, y cercóme de tósigo y de trabajo.
La 3.6:   He hath set me in dark places, as [they that be] dead of old.
Lm 3.6:   Asentóme en oscuridades, como los ya muertos de mucho tiempo.
La 3.7:   He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.
Lm 3.7:   Cercóme por todos lados, y no puedo salir; agravó mis grillos.
La 3.8:   Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.
Lm 3.8:   Aun cuando clamé y dí voces, cerro los oídos a mi oración.
La 3.9:   He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.
Lm 3.9:   Cercó mis caminos con piedra tajada, torció mis senderos.
La 3.10:   He [was] unto me [as] a bear lying in wait, [and as] a lion in secret places.
Lm 3.10:   Como oso que acecha fué para mí, como león en escondrijos.
La 3.11:   He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.
Lm 3.11:   Torció mis caminos, y depedazóme; tornóme asolado.
La 3.12:   He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
Lm 3.12:   Su arco entesó, y púsome como blanco a la saeta.
La 3.13:   He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.
Lm 3.13:   Hizo entrar en mis riñones las saetas de su aljaba.
La 3.14:   I was a derision to all my people; [and] their song all the day.
Lm 3.14:   Fuí escarnio á todo mi pueblo, canción de ellos todos los días.
La 3.15:   He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.
Lm 3.15:   Hartóme de amarguras, embriagóme de ajenjos.
La 3.16:   He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.
Lm 3.16:   Quebróme los dientes con cascajo, cubrióme de ceniza.
La 3.17:   And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.
Lm 3.17:   Y mi alma se alejó de la paz, olvidéme del bien.
La 3.18:   And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:
Lm 3.18:   Y dije: Pereció mi fortaleza, y mi esperanza de Jehová.
La 3.19:   Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
Lm 3.19:   Acuérdate de mi aflicción y de mi abatimiento, del ajenjo y de la hiel.
La 3.20:   My soul hath [them] still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
Lm 3.20:   Tendrálo aún en memoria mi alma, porque en mí está humillada.
La 3.21:   This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
Lm 3.21:   Esto reduciré á mi corazón, por lo cual esperaré.
La 3.22:   [It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
Lm 3.22:   Es por la misericordia de Jehová que no somos consumidos, porque nunca decayeron sus misericordias.
La 3.23:   [They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness.
Lm 3.23:   Nuevas son cada mañana; grande es tu fidelidad.
La 3.24:   The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
Lm 3.24:   Mi parte es Jehová, dijo mi alma; por tanto en él esperaré.
La 3.25:   The LORD [is] good unto them that wait for him, to the soul [that] seeketh him.
Lm 3.25:   Bueno es Jehová á los que en él esperan, al alma que le buscare.
La 3.26:   [It is] good that [a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
Lm 3.26:   Bueno es esperar callando en la salud de Jehová.
La 3.27:   [It is] good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
Lm 3.27:   Bueno es al hombre, si llevare el yugo desde su mocedad.
La 3.28:   He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne [it] upon him.
Lm 3.28:   Sentaráse solo, y callará, porque lo llevó sobre sí.
La 3.29:   He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.
Lm 3.29:   Pondrá su boca en el polvo, por si quizá hay esperanza.
La 3.30:   He giveth [his] cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.
Lm 3.30:   Dará la mejilla al que le hiriere; hartaráse de afrenta.
La 3.31:   For the Lord will not cast off for ever:
Lm 3.31:   Porque el Señor no desechará para siempre:
La 3.32:   But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
Lm 3.32:   Antes si afligiere, también se compadecerá según la multitud de sus misericordias.
La 3.33:   For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
Lm 3.33:   Porque no aflige ni congoja de su corazón á los hijos de los hombres.
La 3.34:   To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,
Lm 3.34:   Desmenuzar bajo de sus pies todos los encarcelados de la tierra,
La 3.35:   To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,
Lm 3.35:   Hacer apartar el derecho del hombre ante la presencia del Altísimo,
La 3.36:   To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.
Lm 3.36:   Trastornar al hombre en su causa, el Señor no lo sabe.
La 3.37:   Who [is] he [that] saith, and it cometh to pass, [when] the Lord commandeth [it] not?
Lm 3.37:   ¿Quién será aquel que diga, que vino algo que el Señor no mandó?
La 3.38:   Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?
Lm 3.38:   ¿De la boca del Altísimo no saldrá malo y bueno?
La 3.39:   Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
Lm 3.39:   ¿Por qué murmura el hombre viviente, el hombre en su pecado?
La 3.40:   Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.
Lm 3.40:   Escudriñemos nuestros caminos, y busquemos, y volvámonos a Jehová.
La 3.41:   Let us lift up our heart with [our] hands unto God in the heavens.
Lm 3.41:   Levantemos nuestros corazones con las manos a Dios en los cielos.
La 3.42:   We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.
Lm 3.42:   Nosotros nos hemos rebelado, y fuimos desleales; tú no perdonaste.
La 3.43:   Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.
Lm 3.43:   Desplegaste la ira, y nos perseguiste; mataste, no perdonaste.
La 3.44:   Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that [our] prayer should not pass through.
Lm 3.44:   Te cubriste de nube, porque no pasase la oración nuestra.
La 3.45:   Thou hast made us [as] the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.
Lm 3.45:   Raedura y abominación nos tornaste en medio de los pueblos.
La 3.46:   All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.
Lm 3.46:   Todos nuestros enemigos abrieron sobre nosotros su boca.
La 3.47:   Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction.
Lm 3.47:   Temor y lazo fué para nosotros, asolamiento y quebrantamiento.
La 3.48:   Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
Lm 3.48:   Ríos de aguas echan mis ojos, por el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo.
La 3.49:   Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission,
Lm 3.49:   Mis ojos destilan, y no cesan, porque no hay alivio,
La 3.50:   Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven.
Lm 3.50:   Hasta que Jehová mire y vea desde los cielos.
La 3.51:   Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.
Lm 3.51:   Mis ojos contristaron mi alma, por todas las hijas de mi ciudad.
La 3.52:   Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.
Lm 3.52:   Mis enemigos me dieron caza como á ave, sin por qué.
La 3.53:   They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me.
Lm 3.53:   Ataron mi vida en mazmorra, pusieron piedra sobre mí.
La 3.54:   Waters flowed over mine head; [then] I said, I am cut off.
Lm 3.54:   Aguas de avenida vinieron sobre mi cabeza; yo dije: Muerto soy.
La 3.55:   I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.
Lm 3.55:   Invoqué tu nombre, oh Jehová, desde la cárcel profunda.
La 3.56:   Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.
Lm 3.56:   Oiste mi voz; no escondas tu oído á mi clamor, para mi respiro
La 3.57:   Thou drewest near in the day [that] I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.
Lm 3.57:   Acercástete el día que te invoqué: dijiste: No temas.
La 3.58:   O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.
Lm 3.58:   Abogaste, Señor, la causa de mi alma; redimiste mi vida.
La 3.59:   O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.
Lm 3.59:   Tú has visto, oh Jehová, mi agravio; defiende mi causa.
La 3.60:   Thou hast seen all their vengeance [and] all their imaginations against me.
Lm 3.60:   Tú has visto toda su venganza; todos sus pensamientos contra mí.
La 3.61:   Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, [and] all their imaginations against me;
Lm 3.61:   Tú has oído el oprobio de ellos, oh Jehová, todas sus maquinaciones contra mí;
La 3.62:   The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.
Lm 3.62:   Los dichos de los que contra mí se levantaron, y su designio contra mí todo el día.
La 3.63:   Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I [am] their musick.
Lm 3.63:   Su sentarse, y su levantarse mira: yo soy su canción.
La 3.64:   Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
Lm 3.64:   Dales el pago, oh Jehová, según la obra de sus manos.
La 3.65:   Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.
Lm 3.65:   Dales ansia de corazón, tu maldición á ellos.
La 3.66:   Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.
Lm 3.66:   Persíguelos en tu furor, y quebrántalos de debajo de los cielos, oh Jehová.
