Ps 79.1:   {A Psalm of Asaph.} O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
Sal 79.1:   OH Dios, vinieron las gentes á tu heredad; El templo de tu santidad han contaminado; Pusieron á Jerusalem en montones.
Ps 79.2:   The dead bodies of thy servants have they given [to be] meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
Sal 79.2:   Dieron los cuerpos de tus siervos por comida á las aves de los cielos; La carne de tus santos á las bestias de la tierra.
Ps 79.3:   Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and [there was] none to bury [them].
Sal 79.3:   Derramaron su sangre como agua en los alrededores de Jerusalem; Y no hubo quien los enterrase.
Ps 79.4:   We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
Sal 79.4:   Somos afrentados de nuestros vecinos, Escarnecidos y burlados de los que están en nuestros alrededores.
Ps 79.5:   How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?
Sal 79.5:   ¿Hasta cuándo, oh Jehová? ¿has de estar airado para siempre? ¿Arderá como fuego tu celo?
Ps 79.6:   Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.
Sal 79.6:   Derrama tu ira sobre las gentes que no te conocen, Y sobre los reinos que no invocan tu nombre.
Ps 79.7:   For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.
Sal 79.7:   Porque han consumido á Jacob, Y su morada han asolado.
Ps 79.8:   O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.
Sal 79.8:   No recuerdes contra nosotros las iniquidades antiguas: Anticípennos presto tus misericordias, Porque estamos muy abatidos.
Ps 79.9:   Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
Sal 79.9:   Ayúdanos, oh Dios, salud nuestra, por la gloria de tu nombre: Y líbranos, y aplácate sobre nuestros pecados por amor de tu nombre.
Ps 79.10:   Wherefore should the heathen say, Where [is] their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight [by] the revenging of the blood of thy servants [which is] shed.
Sal 79.10:   Porque dirán las gentes: ¿Dónde está su Dios? Sea notoria en las gentes, delante de nuestros ojos, La venganza de la sangre de tus siervos, que fué derramada.
Ps 79.11:   Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;
Sal 79.11:   Entre ante tu acatamiento el gemido de los presos: Conforme á la grandeza de tu brazo preserva á los sentenciados á muerte.
Ps 79.12:   And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.
Sal 79.12:   Y torna á nuestros vecinos en su seno siete tantos De su infamia, con que te han deshonrado, oh Jehová.
Ps 79.13:   So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.
Sal 79.13:   Y nosotros, pueblo tuyo, y ovejas de tu dehesa, Te alabaremos para siempre: Por generación y generación cantaremos tus alabanzas.
